What is Profhilo?

Profhilo is a revolutionary new treatment that moisturises the skin. It employs a proprietary concentration of Hyaluronic Acid, which penetrates deeply into the skin to stimulate elastin and collagen production, resulting in plumper skin. Profhilo® is great for smoothing fine lines and wrinkles and achieving a more youthful appearance because it works across the entire face rather than focusing on one area.

What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers use a Hyaluronic Acid-based substance to plump specific areas of the face, including the cheeks, jawline, lips, and chin. This semi-permanent treatment helps restore areas that have lost volume as age (e.g., under-eye bags), address areas of imbalance such as weak chin, and reshape places such as the nose and jawline.

Difference between Profhilo and dermal fillers

Profhilo vs fillers: The kind of hyaluronic acid

Both dermal fillers and Profhilo contain moisture-boosting hyaluronic acid.

Dermal fillers are designed to stay in one place, adding instant plumpness to sagging skin.

Profhilo operates uniquely. It combines with the skin to stimulate the patient’s own natural anti-ageing processes. Profhilo also does not contain synthetic additives like BDDE, which reduces the risk of side effects.

Both treatments have distinct but equally impressive advantages.

Profhilo and fillers-different treatment areas

Throughout a facial filler treatment, only certain areas of the face are targeted – like the cheeks, deep wrinkles, and lips. And, whilst you can go back and have numerous filler treatments, just one location is concentrated on each time. Yet, Profhilo therapy isn’t limited to just one area. Instead, what Profhilo does is plump, revitalize, and tighten up the entire face.

Profhilo vs Fillers: Difference in  benefits

The advantages of these two are different.

Fillers help replace lost volume and volumize sagging areas such as the cheeks and neck. Furthermore, they restructure and alter your facial features.

Profhilo, on the other hand, does not increase the volume of your facial features or change the shape of any of your body parts.

It gradually rejuvenates and hydrates the skin by working on the dermis, epidermis, and fat compartments.

Is Profhilo better than fillers?

Profhilo does not outperform fillers and vice versa. Because each of these treatment options takes a different approach, there will be one that works best for your skin and desired outcomes. Both treatments have different benefits and target different areas; therefore, which treatment is best for you is entirely dependent on your personal preferences. For example, Profhilo is the best treatment for you if you want a more holistic result that can be seen across your face. On the other hand, dermal fillers are better suited for making minor changes to specific areas of your face, such as your cheeks.

However, they can work exceptionally well together. So if you want to alter a few facial features due to ageing and refresh your dull skin, use these two in combination.
